Additionally, Debbie has painted the Old Freeport Post Office and the former Freeport Café. These acrylic paintings document local history and nostalgia for locals and visitors alike.

Julia enjoys painting in acrylics to capture such subject matter as fish, birds, strawberries, her front porch, and cats. Julia’s young family, as well as her recently completed Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and her time in the United States Marine Corps, will continue to provide valuable insights to our world as she approaches future artwork.

Sue Grimes records peaceful landscapes from mountain scenes to deserts to country sides showing an old cabin or barn. She also enjoys traditional seascapes, along with boats, lighthouses, shorebirds, shells, and other sea life. But Sue also finds inspiration in her kitchen and garden, resulting in several painted series of flowers, fruit, and veggies.

Neica is our newest artist. Watch for her beautiful paintings. She has been painting for over ten years. In that time, she has grown as an artist and paints beautiful still lifes, landscapes, and human interest paintings.

Morgan is a Dual-Enrolled High School Senior who paints primarily with acrylics in a realistic, but whimsical style. Her subject matter varies widely to include still life settings, jellyfish, a raccoon in a party hat, insects, beauty berries, and landscapes. She also drew a significant number of the animals on the children’s mural that the Gallery co-sponsored with Mainstreet DeFuniak Springs
